This album is the our entire live show recorded at our concert at Evanston S.P.A.C.E. We pay tribute to Dave Brubeck's contribution to the jazz of the world. Almost all of Brubeck's tunes on this album are played in odd time signatures (5/4, 9/8, 11/6,7/4, etc.) Our intention is not to duplicate Brubeck's Quartet, but to honor their spirit.humor, and swing! We were honored to be joined by Russell Gloyd, Brubeck's manager, producer and conductor for over 4 decades, who provided the lively commentary.
